Jacobs is a native Texan and has been a resident of Georgetown since 1969. The Jacobs name has become synonymous with high quality and exceptional service in the commercial and residential building industries. Jacobs is also known for his willingness to give back to the community. In 2006, Jimmy Jacobs Custom Homes was selected to build a home for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, in Austin. Jacobs has also built five homes for Habitat for Humanity, three homes for Wounded Warriors, two homes for other families in need, and donated design/build services to the construction of the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center and Friendly Will Baptist Church, both in Georgetown.
